The Osan Youth Center caters to the needs of youth ages 9–13 years old. The Osan Teen Center is located in a separate facility and offers activities for youth ages 13-18 years old.

Affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), the Youth Center offers special instructional classes such as dance, gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do and piano. If your child would like to participate in team sports, the Youth Center offers seasonal sports including basketball, cheerleading, baseball, swim team and fall soccer.

School Age Program- This program provides safe, supervised, age-appropriate care for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The program is designed for children of working parents and operates before and after school, all day on no-school days, Spring and Winter Break Camps and a separate Summer Camp program. Space is limited and fees are based on total family income.

Open Recreation – For Youth Center members 9 and older, they can sign themselves into Open Rec after school and take advantage of a variety of free activities to include:
• A Technology Center with 2 internet-connected computers, printers, and scanners has all the necessary tools to complete school projects.
• A Game Room with board games, music, television and videos. Many students do their homework at the Game Room’s family-style table.
• The Kitchen/Pool Room, with a large dining room table, is often used for homework and arts and crafts projects. The kitchen is also used for the “Kids in the Kitchen” program.
• The Gymnasium is fully equipped for basketball, volleyball, badminton, gymnastics and a variety of indoor sports.
• A Homework/TV Room is used as a quiet homework area on weekdays after school and where the “Power Hour” adult tutor volunteers help students complete homework assignments.
• Outdoor Nature Classroom is an award-winning self-help project filled with plants, flowers, picnic tables, benches, potting tables and raised gardening beds. The Garden Club provides seasonal maintenance and selection of planted items.

Youth Center Programs- The Youth Center offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year. Some of these programs are annual events while others are continuous.

• Power Hour, ages 5-13: This educationally enhanced BGCA program is designed to raise the academic proficiency of club members by offering a daily opportunity to complete homework assignments with adult tutoring where needed.

• Passport to Manhood (boys) and Free to Be Me (girls), ages 9-13: These programs provide young men and women a moral compass to guide them in making life choices.
• Dances, ages 9-13: Held monthly, this program offers a safe night of music and dancing with professional DJ, lights and snack. A fee is charged for this event.
• Family Seasonal Events, all ages: Free events such as Spring Fling Egg Hunt, Harvest Fest, Military Family Appreciation Day, Winter Fest and more are held throughout the year to promote family well-being. Events may include arts and crafts and/or game booths in a carnival-type setting.
